With over 30 years of U.S. military service (Navy Seabees-Engineering Battalion), Sean brings his skills in construction of bases, roads, runways, medical and communication facilities to the TruBlue team. As a decorated combat veteran in Afghanistan, TruBlue is proud to have him as leader on our experienced team of handymen.Sean’s background after active duty has included working as a maintenance supervisor, renovating warehouses into apartment complexes, providing emergency maintenance services, electrical and HVAC repairs, as well as updates to kitchens and bathrooms. He has extensive experience with troubleshooting appliances, carpentry and plumbing.
Fun Fact about Sean: He used to train hunting dogs!
As a former avionics technician in the U.S. Marine Corps and computer engineer, Allen brings his extensive background in troubleshooting and maintenance to the TruBlue team. Working in computers for over 30 years, diagnosing and repairing systems and hardware, has provided Allen the ability to troubleshoot quickly and accurately.
He and his brother are both the handymen in their families, working together on family and friends’ homes, remodeling, repairing and updating homes over the last 30 years.
TrueBlue is proud to employ Allen and his quick ability to learn new things on the fly. He is adept and picking up new skills and honing them in a very short amount of time.
Fun Fact About Allen: He made a 45-foot swan dive in Waimea Falls.
As TruBlue’s handyman apprentice, Christian, brings his keen eye for detail and his passion for learning to our team. He works to assist our handymen with their more detailed or time-consuming projects, such as drywall finishing, tile and grouting work.
Christian enjoys providing friendly, excellent customer service to our homeowners and loves to study/read and practice home repair projects in his free time.
Fun Fact About Christian: He is a 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo & an accomplished pianist.
Jake Owner, Operations & Estimating
While serving in the U.S. Army, Jake worked in human resources management. After active duty, he obtained a degree business management and economics, then moved into operations management roles with Kroger and Kohl’s e-commerce facilities, allowing him to obtain extensive experience in supervisory and business leadership roles.
Jake is passionate about leading teams of great people, giving them the
needed support to do their very best work. He strives to build strong
teams that are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and skilled at what they do.
His favorite part of being a small business owner is watching his handymen grow in skills and knowledge, coupled with hearing a homeowner voice their satisfaction with his team’s work.
Fun Fact About Jake: He and his wife, Jennifer, are avid escape room enthusiasts and have visited over 56 escape rooms to-date.
Jennifer Co-Owner, Sales & Marketing
Jennifer’s career started in human resources, much like her husband, Jake, 23 years ago. She moved into the marketing field 13 years ago, working in multimedia design, website project management, and most recently, digital marketing management. She brings her writing, design and digital communication skills to the TruBlue team.
In a digital world, the TruBlue team knows it is important to be found online. People search for home services online, and Jennifer helps to ensure TruBlue’s digital presence in their local market in Cincinnati.
Fun Fact About Jennifer: She has driven the entire circumference of Ireland (The Wild Atlantic Way, 1600 miles in length, one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world).
