This new cloud-based tool allows our franchisees to access a database that helps them provide extremely accurate quotes in far less time – sometimes even on site. We know homeowners get frustrated with slow quotes that are not itemized or clear and concise. Most companies give a blanket price for an entire job, but we break down the costs associated with each task we perform and the software will help with that too. It is all about providing transparency and giving the client the ability to pick and choose what work they would like to have done while understanding what the costs will be. But that takes time. This new software makes the quoting process easier across the board.
Our franchisees offer handyman services, maid and cleaning services, lawn care, emergency repairs, seasonal projects, a home watch program, a senior accessibility program and more. TruBlue also works with Realtors®, commercial clients and recently started offering monthly maintenance programs as well as an interest-free financing option for home repairs. Because of that wide variety of services, it can be challenging to give quotes to customers right away. But, as customers ourselves, we know it’s hard to wait for a number when you’re anxious to start a project. This new estimating software will allow us to turn that quote around more quickly – on-site or soon after – and, we hope, add to the high level of customer service we already provide.
